Hicham KHAROUFI is the Port Call Optimization Manager at Tanger Med Port, the Mediterranean’s largest and one of the most strategic ports. With over 11 years of experience in the maritime, shipping, and port industry, he has held key positions in ship building, port planning, and port efficiency optimization. Hicham joined Tanger Med Port Authority in 2018 and has since led initiatives to enhance port performance, digitalization, and sustainability. He holds a MSc degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Pusan National University (South Korea) and a Merchant Marine Officer diploma from the Higher Institute of Maritime Studies in Casablanca.
