Since 2006 Jarkko Ruokojärvi has worked in global business associated with automation and digitalization technologies and transformation – mainly in the mining industry and recently with port container terminals. Jarkko has had various roles leading strategies and growth as well as both commercial and technical aspects of developing and bringing into value-adding use solutions such as autonomous equipment, digital process optimization and remote operations. In 2022 he joined APM Terminals, where the responsibilities include ambitious improvement of the company’s operational excellence through leveraging automation and other operational technologies
