In this function, Matthijs is responsible for customer relations and customer development of the Port of Rotterdam.
In his previous roles he was responsible for the development of the inland of Port of Rotterdam and the Commercial Digital Portfolio. Matthijs started his career with TNT, which gives him more then 16 years of experience in logistics.
Developing Port of Rotterdam into the port with the most sustainable and most efficient supply chains is what drives Matthijs.
This can only be done together with our customers and stakeholders. Digital is an important enabler for that and will make our port fit for the future
