Roman is the Head of Digital at AELER, a company building the technologies to automate in-transit freight logistics. AELER is transforming logistics by bringing advanced technologies to the container — the building block of our global economy — and the ecosystem that surrounds it. Before joining Aeler, he held research fellowships at the Harvard Biodesign lab and the Laboratory for Spinal Cord Repair at EPFL, where he worked on real-time critical software, including electrical stimulation of the spinal cord and control of exoskeletons. He holds a Master of Bioengineering from EPFL, Switzerland.
