Saskia is a tech-savvy senior leader with 20+ years experience in the Energy industry within 828 Industries (Marine, Mining, Road Transport, Chemicals). She is passionate about using digital as an enabler to tackle the climate challenge. Saskia is currently Director Customer Digital for the Port of Rotterdam Authority making it the smartest and most sustainable port. In her previous role as Chief Digital Officer at Shell, she drove the digital transformation for Shell’s Global 828 business spanning 150 countries and 8000 employees. Saskia has always worked in multinational settings in various commercial, operational and strategic consultancy roles. She is a board member at several start-ups and has a passion for advancing (gender) diversity. She currently lives in the Netherlands with her husband and 7- year old daughter.
